Before You Begin

Make sure your WooCommerce store is active and that you have a wallet compatible with your selected network (Optimism or Arbitrum).

1. Install WooChainPro

Install and activate WooChainPro from your WordPress dashboard. After activation, open the WooChainPro settings to start the guided setup.

2. Connect Your Wallet

Enter your WooChainPro platform URL and connect your blockchain wallet. Connecting requires you to sign a short message that authenticates the wallet. This signature does not create a blockchain transaction, consume gas, move funds, or give WooChainPro control over your assets.

3. Add USDC Credit

Add USDC credit to your WooChainPro account. You’ll draw on this balance to pay for applicable WooChainPro services, including certificate issuance and blockchain-related operations.

4. Select Your Plan

Choose the WooChainPro plan available for your store. Where offered, you can use a free trial to test certificate issuance before moving to a paid plan.

5. Deploy Your Contract

Select your blockchain network and deploy your WooChainPro smart contract.

Choosing seller rights. During deployment, you can choose the seller rights associated with the contract, including Freeze/Unfreeze, Revoke, and Force Transfer. Most stores need none of these. Once you deploy the contract, its rights become permanent — the normal setup process can’t change them afterward.

6. Enable Checkout Certificates

After your contract is deployed, configure when WooChainPro should issue certificates and enable the certificate option at WooCommerce checkout. Customers can then choose whether they want to receive a blockchain certificate for eligible purchases.

7. Test Your Store

Before launching, place a test order and confirm that the certificate option appears correctly at checkout. Once the order reaches your configured status, WooChainPro processes the issuance and links the certificate to the customer’s wallet.

If Something Is Not Working

Check the following if the certificate option doesn’t appear at checkout:

  • WooChainPro is active
  • Your wallet is connected
  • You’ve deployed a contract
  • The contract isn’t suspended
  • Your subscription is active
  • Your account has sufficient USDC credit
  • Certificates are available
  • The checkout certificate option is enabled

For a failed certificate issuance, open the relevant order in WooCommerce and use the available retry option.
