What WooChainPro Provides
WooChainPro provides tools that allow eligible WooCommerce stores to offer blockchain-based certificates and related verification functionality.
Depending on the configuration and supported network, the Services may allow merchants to deploy certificate-related smart contracts, configure contract permissions, connect wallets, fund certificate issuance, offer certificates during checkout, issue certificates to customer wallet addresses, and inspect or verify related blockchain records.
Blockchain Records Are Independent Infrastructure
WooChainPro provides software and infrastructure for interacting with supported blockchain networks. Blockchain networks, wallet providers, block explorers, and other third-party infrastructure operate independently from WooChainPro.
Your Responsibilities as a Merchant
You are responsible for your WooCommerce store, the products and services you sell, the information you provide to customers, and your use of certificates issued through WooChainPro.
You agree to:
- Configure WooChainPro appropriately for your business.
- Review contract permissions before deployment.
- Maintain the security of your WordPress installation and store.
- Obtain any notices, permissions, or consents required from your customers.
- Provide accurate information about the meaning and purpose of certificates.
- Comply with laws applicable to your business, products, customers, and use of blockchain technology.
- Avoid making misleading or unsupported claims about product authenticity or verification.
Your Products Remain Your Responsibility
WooChainPro does not independently inspect, manufacture, authenticate, test, approve, or guarantee the products sold through your store.
Smart Contracts and Deployment Decisions
Certain features of WooChainPro allow you to deploy a smart contract associated with your store on a supported blockchain network.
Blockchain transactions and deployed smart contracts may be permanent or irreversible. You are responsible for reviewing your selected network, configuration, permissions, and deployment information before confirming deployment.
Contract Rights
Where WooChainPro allows you to select contract rights or capabilities, those rights may become fixed when the contract is deployed. Changes may require the deployment of a separate contract and may not affect certificates already issued.
Deployment Cannot Always Be Reversed
Once information or a transaction has been accepted by a blockchain network, WooChainPro may be unable to modify, reverse, remove, or recover it.
Blockchain Transactions and Third-Party Networks
WooChainPro may support interaction with public blockchain networks. These networks are operated independently and may experience congestion, outages, forks, changes in fees, security events, or other technical conditions outside our control.
We do not guarantee that a particular blockchain network, wallet provider, node provider, or block explorer will remain available or operate without interruption.
Transaction fees, confirmation times, and network conditions may change without notice.
Wallets and Private Keys
You are responsible for maintaining control of the wallets you use with WooChainPro.
WooChainPro does not request your wallet’s private key or recovery phrase. You must never provide private keys or recovery phrases to WooChainPro support or to anyone claiming to represent WooChainPro.
Customer Wallet Addresses
Certificates may be issued to the wallet address provided during checkout. You are responsible for configuring your store appropriately and customers are responsible for ensuring that the address they provide is correct.
Blockchain transfers or certificate issuance to an incorrect address may be irreversible.
What a Certificate Does—and Does Not—Prove
A WooChainPro certificate records information through the relevant blockchain and certificate contract. The existence of a certificate does not, by itself, independently prove that a physical product is genuine, safe, legally compliant, valuable, or of a particular quality.
The meaning of a certificate depends on the information and representations made by the merchant issuing it.
Merchants remain responsible for the accuracy of claims associated with their products and certificates.
This section is extremely important for protecting WooChainPro from merchants claiming:
“WooChainPro certified my product, therefore WooChainPro guarantees it is genuine.”
Subscriptions, Credit and Fees
Certain WooChainPro features may require an active subscription, available account credit, payment of deployment fees, blockchain transaction costs, or other applicable charges.
Prices, available plans, certificate capacity, platform charges, and supported payment methods may change from time to time.
You are responsible for maintaining sufficient funds where required for certificate issuance or other paid Services.
Failed Transactions
A failed blockchain operation may still involve network or infrastructure costs in circumstances outside WooChainPro’s control. Any applicable treatment of fees will be communicated through the relevant Service, payment terms, or refund policy.
Fees Charged by Merchants to Customers
WooChainPro may allow merchants to configure an optional certificate-related fee at checkout.
Any amount charged by a merchant to its customer is determined by that merchant, subject to the merchant’s own legal and consumer obligations.
WooChainPro is not responsible for the merchant’s pricing, tax treatment, refunds, consumer disclosures, or other obligations associated with products or fees charged by the merchant.
Availability and Changes to the Service
We may update, modify, add, suspend, or discontinue features of WooChainPro from time to time.
We may also temporarily limit access where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, technical improvements, legal compliance, or the protection of the Services and their users.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability of the Services.
Security and Emergency Measures
Where technically available, WooChainPro may take reasonable measures to protect users, supported infrastructure, or the integrity of the Services in response to security incidents, technical failures, suspected abuse, or applicable legal requirements.
Depending on the applicable contract and system design, this may include temporarily suspending supported activity.
Emergency measures are intended to reduce risk and do not necessarily reverse, delete, or alter records already permanently recorded on a blockchain.
Prohibited Use
You must not use WooChainPro to:
- Break applicable laws or regulations.
- Facilitate fraud or deception.
- Misrepresent a product’s origin, ownership, authenticity, or characteristics.
- Attempt to compromise the security or availability of the Services.
- Interfere with other users or supported blockchain infrastructure.
- Circumvent fees, access controls, or technical restrictions.
- Use the Services in connection with unlawful products or transactions.
- Upload or record information that you do not have the right to use.
Intellectual Property
WooChainPro, its software, branding, website content, documentation, design, and other proprietary materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms and any applicable licence, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for their intended purpose.
You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, distribute, or exploit WooChainPro except where expressly permitted by applicable law or a separate written agreement.
Third-Party Services
WooChainPro may interact with third-party services, including blockchain networks, wallet providers, payment providers, hosting providers, node infrastructure, and blockchain explorers.
Those services may be governed by their own terms, policies, and technical requirements. WooChainPro is not responsible for services operated independently by third parties.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WooChainPro is provided on an “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that the Services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available on every device, network, blockchain, wallet, or WooCommerce configuration.
We do not guarantee the commercial value, legal effect, market acceptance, authenticity, ownership, or quality of products associated with certificates issued using WooChainPro.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WooChainPro and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Services.
This includes, where permitted by law, losses arising from blockchain network failures, incorrect wallet addresses, transaction delays, loss of access to wallets, third-party service failures, merchant product disputes, or decisions made based on blockchain records.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend and indemnify WooChainPro and its operators against claims arising from your products, your store, your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
Suspension and Termination
You may stop using WooChainPro at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services where reasonably necessary to address security concerns, suspected fraud, abuse, non-payment, violations of these Terms, or legal obligations.
Ending access to WooChainPro does not necessarily remove information or certificates already recorded on a public blockchain.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when our Services, technology, business practices, or legal obligations change.
Updated Terms will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Services after the effective date may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by applicable law.
